Someone recently asked me to guess the number one day for evangelism in the United States? After several guesses, I was shocked to discover that the correct answer was Halloween. But after thinking about it, the answer made perfect sense. Halloween is the only time of the year that your neighbor and their kids will come to your door begging for you to share something with them. I realized that as a Christian this would also be a perfect time for me to share the Gospel of Jesus with my neighbors. However, I wanted a unique way to share the Gospel. I quickly ruled out pencils with ‘Jesus loves You’ messages because I want my neighbors to know more than Jesus loves them, I wanted them to know how to become a part of God’s family. I was thinking a Bible track would be perfect; however, in my experience most people, kids included, just throw gospel tracks away. Then I remembered a unique index card that I used to help my Sunday school class learn the Books of the Bible made by Memory Cross. My Sunday school loved these cards because the cards have what is called an infinity folding design. They remind me of ‘fidget toys’. To my delight, Memory Cross has designed several cards for Halloween. Each Halloween track presents the Gospel message, and some of the tracks have coloring areas or mazes. I like the ‘coloring tracks’ because coloring the cards allows the child to spend more time looking at the message presented. But don’t take my word for it; Memory Cross is willing to send you a free sample if you click here So do you celebrate Halloween? If so, how? What do you think about using Halloween to evangelize? Well that is all for now, please continue to pray for me and know I am praying for you. Corine
