Help Your Children Learn Why the Church in China Continues to Need Our Prayers.

Hello Supporters, Anyone who knows me knows I am busy… extremely busy.  As a result, I feel that a lot of time I am out of tune with the world beyond my immediate circle.  When my friend Bonnie contacted me about reviewing her newest book (Asia: It's People and History); I thought cool it would be a wonderful chance to help a fellow author.  However, it turned into so much more.  There are many reasons why I would highly recommended Asia: It's People and History but due to time constrains (remember I said I was busy, need to organize my receipts, fill my taxes, and plan a huge online birthday celebration) I will limit myself to just two. 

1. Through the stories told in this book, I found myself connecting with Asia on a much deeper level.  (The stories are written in the first person which helped me to imagine I was sitting there listening to the child tell his/her story).  I began to see the Christians in Asia as my own brothers and sisters in Christ.  As a result, I felt an obligation to pray for them as I would my own brothers and sisters.  
   
2. Asia: It’s People and History  was also a chance for me to connect with one of the little people in my life.  I knew very little about Asia going into this study.  Therefore, this study offered me a chance to connect with a child as an equal, rather than an expert (by the way, while this book is design for children 8 to 12, I personally recommended it for adults as well).
