As more and more people migrate to the digital space for information, getting your website ranking on page one of search engine results has always been more critical. It's no longer enough for you to have a fantastic site with an outstanding product – if no one sees it, you won't get any traction. So how do you write a blog post that will make sure your SEO efforts put you in pole position? In this blog post, I'll discuss tips on creating great content that stands out from the competition and making sure your posts hit all the right notes regarding SEO best practices. Read on to find out more! What is Blogging in Seo?Blogging in seo refers to Blogging for search engine optimization or SEO. It’s an SEO strategy that helps your blog posts rank higher on page one in search engine results pages (SERPs). Blogging in seo increases the visibility of your content. When appropriately used, Blogging can help boost your website’s traffic and overall rankings. Let's look at some tips to help you write a blog post that will rank on page one: Tip 1 : Pick a Topic That People Are Searching Google ForOne of the best ways to succeed at SEO and drive traffic to your blog is to choose topics people are actively searching for on Google. This is important because when your content addresses popular search queries, Google is more likely to rank it higher on search engine results pages (SERPs), leading to increased visibility and more organic traffic for your blog. To pick a popular topic that people are searching for on Google, consider the following strategies: 1. Identify Trends and Popular Issues: Keep an eye on current events, news stories, and popular issues within your niche or industry. You can use Google Trends to find trending searches or follow relevant social media hashtags and forums to see what difficulties people face or topics they are interested in. 2. Use Keyword Research Tools: Numerous keyword research tools are available, such as Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush, that help you identify high-volume keywords people are searching for. By targeting these keywords in your content, you can increase the visibility of your blog. 3. Analyze Your Competitors: Examine the top-ranking blogs in your niche and take note of the topics they cover. By analyzing your competition, you will better understand their winning strategies and the topics that resonate with their audience. 4. Listen to Your Audience: Pay close attention to the comments and feedback you receive from your readers, followers, and prospective clients. They may provide valuable insights into what topics they are interested in or the issues they're facing. 5. Provide Solutions to Common Problems: Identify common problems or pain points within your industry or niche, and write content that provides solutions or guidance. This may include "how-to" guides, tips and tricks, or product reviews. Doing so gives readers a reason to visit your blog and increases the chances of them sharing your content. Tip 2 Create an Outline that uses Headline.Creating an outline for your new blog post helps you organize your thoughts and ideas before writing. This includes deciding on a headline for the post, which will be vital to ensuring your content is optimized for SEO. Your Headline should include one or two of your primary keywords and be interesting enough to entice people to click through to read more. When crafting headlines, make sure they’re concise yet descriptive and capture the essence of your topic in just a few words. Keep them between 50-60 characters in length so that they’re not truncated when search engines display them on SERPs. Tip 3 - Write the Blog Post for Humans, not GoogleWhile it's important to incorporate keywords and variables into your content, don't sacrifice readability. Use clear and concise language, and break down complex concepts into easily digestible paragraphs. Aim for short sentences and paragraphs to improve readability and maintain the interest of your readers. Include Relevant Keywords and Variables: While prioritizing readability, don't overlook the importance of including relevant keywords and variables. These elements help search engines understand what your blog post is about and improve its visibility. However, avoid keyword stuffing or forcing keywords into your content unnaturally. Instead, seamlessly incorporate them where they fit naturally within the context. Format with Headers and Bullet Points: Breaking up your blog post with headers and bullet points enhances its readability and helps readers scan through the content quickly. Headers allow readers to understand the structure of your post, while bullet points provide a concise overview of important information. Additionally, headers and bullet points make your content more visually appealing, increasing the chances of readers staying engaged. Internal Linking: Utilize internal linking within your blog posts to guide readers to related content on your website. This strategy not only enhances the user experience but also improves the overall SEO of your website. By providing internal links, you encourage readers to explore more of your content, increasing their time spent on your website and decreasing the bounce rate. Additional Tips for writing a blog post that ranksBesides the above blog seo tips, you should take other vital steps when writing a blog post that will rank on page one. These include: Optimize your content for featured snippets.Optimizing your content for featured snippets can be a great way to get your website and blog posts on one of Google's search engine results pages. Featured snippets, also known as position zero, summarize the answer to a user's query that appears above all organic search results. They are concise, informative, and written in an easy-to-understand language that quickly provides a clear answer to the query. To optimize your content for featured snippets, you must ensure it is well-structured and offers comprehensive answers to the given question. You must create content with higher semantic richness by using related keywords and phrases throughout the text. This helps Google understand relevant information and more accurately answers the user’s query. You should also use bullet points or other visual elements where appropriate to make your content easier to scan. Write a Good Blog Post Title. To create a post title with SEO in mind, consider using something compelling that incorporates your primary keyword. Below are several tips to help you optimize blog content titles. 1. Include Numbers: Featuring numbers in your title can instantly make it more attention-grabbing. For example, "5 Ways to Rock a Matte Lipstick." 2. Showcase Your Offer: Clearly state what readers will gain from your post - this can include a free resource. For example, "How to Write a Cover Letter [+ Free Template]." 3. Add a Teaser: A sneak peek into your content can entice readers to click on your post. For example, "We Tried the New [Insert App Name] App: Here's What Happened." Include keywords in your meta description. When writing your blog post, make sure to include keywords in the meta description, which is a summary of what your content is about. This helps search engine crawlers understand the context of your content and can also help it appear in related searches. It should be written engagingly, effectively summarize your post, and contain one or two of the main keywords you are targeting. Add Alt Text to Images.Images can break up text and make your blog post look more attractive. However, search engine crawlers are unable to recognize images as humans do. To ensure that these crawlers understand what an image is about, you need to include alt text in the HTML code of the image. This will help search engines associate keywords with your content and improve its visibility on Google Search result pages(SERPs). Usually a blog has one of three types of images: Aesthetic Image Alt Text Example: Man sitting of the floor trying to figure out if he is hungry, Anxious, Angry, Lonely or Tired. Usable Image: Alt Text Example: Picture that explains what HALT means Promotional Image: Alt Text Example: Ad for It is Well A Christian Guided Journal Noticed I used keywords to describe the first two images. Resist the Urge to Keyword Stuff.Using too many keywords, especially those unrelated to your blog content, can hurt your rankings. This is known as keyword stuffing and can make your content difficult for humans and search engine crawlers to read. To avoid this, use tools like surfer seo to find the ideal keyword density for your content and ensure you are using relevant, high-volume keywords naturally. Link to High-authority Websites.Another way to increase your post’s visibility on Google is by linking to high-authority websites within your content. Creating external links helps search engine crawlers understand your post's context and shows that it is an authoritative source of information. To ensure you link to websites with a good reputation, use tools like SEMrush or MOZ Link Explorer to check their domain and page authority score. Link to Other Posts on Your Site.In addition to linking to external websites, you should also link to other blog posts. This helps readers discover more of your blog content and encourages them to explore your website for longer. It can also be beneficial for SEO as it signals to search engines that the linked pages are related and provides them with an easy way to crawl through your website’s content. Create User-Friendly URLsURLs are an important part of Blogging for SEO purposes, as they can provide search engine crawlers with clues about a page's content. Therefore, make sure to create descriptive and user-friendly URLs by including your main keyword(s) in them. For example: “yourwebsite.com/blog-post-title” instead of “yourwebsite.com/?p=12345” Final Thoughts on Blogging SEOBlog posts can effectively increase your visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs) if you optimize them correctly. I followed the above strategy for the last year and below are a screenshot of my results.

Greeting Supporters, I am also in the process of changing the cover for the Easter active book I developed a few years ago. I would love your feedback on which title you think I should use and any other changes I should make. As a reminder, this book takes children on a journey though the events of the Easter season starting with Palm Sunday and ending with the resurrection. It has six lessons/stories and each is designed to encourage children to read the Bible in order to find out what details in the story are wrong. The goal of each lesson is educate children regarding the true story of Easter and why some traditions continue (i.e., communion and Palm Sunday) and why Easter sometimes gets confused with bunnies and candy. So which title do you like best, let me know in the comments below. 1. The Truth About Easter 2. The story of Easter 3. What the Bible Says About Easter This book will be available via amazon. If you would like to know when it is available for purchase, sign-up here.
Until next time, please pray for me and know I am praying for your, Corine P.S., If you have a moment, I would appreciate it if you stopped by my new site www.therapyforchristians.com where each week I share resources designed to increase mental health awareness in the Christian community. This week I share the first of a three part series entitled "Why is Love Not Enough – Things that Compete with Love." ![]()
Dont be fooled by the title of this post, I would hesitate to suggest that we only show love and kindness one month out of the year! However, as we approach the “month of love”, I hope to inspire you with some ideas to help you live out love and kindness with those around you! A woman’s life is so full…so many hats to wear, responsibilities to tend to, people to care for, and love buckets to fill, day after day!
Whatever you aim to do, big or small, involve some of the little people in your life! Maybe it’s time to volunteer at an animal shelter or wildlife rehab organization, your local library, or a church on their cleaning day. Maybe you know a mom who’s not getting ANY sleep at night. A meal, no matter how simple, would mean the world to her! Perhaps you have a friend who’s getting ready to move soon? Volunteer to help them pack! What a load off of their shoulders that can be! Have you noticed a house in your neighborhood that recently sold? Moving to a new place can be really hectic and nerve wracking if you don’t know anyone. Consider taking a new neighbor an inexpensive housewarming gift and introducing yourself! These small and thoughtful gestures are not so common in this era, but they still mean so much to newcomers! One of the things I finds is that while my heart is always in the right place, life can be busy and crazy some days. So I learned, to commit to doing at least one kind thing each day by planning what I will do first. What I have find by doing this, is that I by starting the day with a kindness task to accomplish I naturally find more opportunities to be kind. So I created a monthly calendar that I can use over and over again because it is fully editable via a google account. Which means, if you don’t like an idea listed, you can change it out with a different one. In addition, because it is fully editable, you can use it over and over again. My hope is that it will be a helpful tool that provides some new ideas for you and your family! Enjoy this Love & Kindness Activity Chart this month (and beyond) for only $4.99.

Greeting Supporters,
I decided to do a new type a post called a resources round up. A resources round is just what is sounds like. . . A post about several different resources on the same subject. So today's resource round-up covers The Chronicles of Narnia. The Chronicles of Narnia are classic tales that everyone should read at least once. Believe it or not, I was not introduced to the beloved Christian Classic until my early 30s. In the Chronicles of Narnia, author C.S.Lewis has created an entire new world, and as in all worlds, there is an epic battle between good and evil. The reason why I like this type of fantasy is because it can help teach several different lessons and help point others to Christ.
To kick off my first resource round up, I partnered with several of blogs to offer a giveaway on the same subject. Greeting Supporters, Sorry I have been out of touch. Things have been pretty busy in my nonwriting/nonblogging life. Last fall I started a new job and moved to a new state. However, I recently realized that I have been sitting on my God given gifts and made a commitment to change that in 2018. God has placed several more books inside of me. While I am not sure how many, I do know that there is a feelings activity book that is complete and waiting to be sent to an editor; a resurrection activity book that is 90 percent done; a seasonal activity book that is 50 percent done and a picture book that is done but needs to be illustrated. My goal is to publish each of the above-mentioned books in 2018. So yesterday, I contacted several illustrators and asked them to submit a sample drawing. Each illustrator was given the same instructing "a picture of a mother holding in a baby in a rocking chair." A few asked for further direction or an example, and I sent them the below copy of a picture from "Love You Forever." So based on the above, which picture do you like best? A few things to keep in mind, when helping me decide:
Please note I am planning on making my decision by 2/2/2018. Well until next time, please continue to pray for me and know I am praying for you. Corine P.S. I have received several questions about where I found the illustrators. I found each of the below illustrators on Fiverr. Fiverr is a global online marketplace offering tasks and services, beginning at a cost of $5 per job performed, from which it gets its name. While each of the below illustrators are charging more than $5, the cost is well within my budge for this project. You can learn more about Fiverr by clicking the below button. Be sure you enter my latest giveaway here: http://www.booksbycorine.com/blog/great-christian-devotions-adored-365-devotions-for-young-women
Greeting Supporters,
I excited to tell you about a new devotion from Zondervan - Adored: 365 Devotions for Young Women. Adore offers 365 devotions that address tough topics that young women face including self-worth, patience, bullying, friendship and dating. Each devotion is designed to remind the reader how much God loves and adores them. The 365 readings are short and probably will not require more that five minutes to read. A lot of the devotions start with a question that could be helpful in guiding the reader a bit more.
Adored was written by Lindsay A. Franklin and illustrated by Micah Kandros. The book is hardbound and includes thick pages that have borders in blue, gold and white. In addition, each page includes a journaling area for further reflection. The scripture verses are based on the NIV Bible. I love the fact that each day goes by a number, instead of a calendar date. Using a number instead of a number makes this devotion a perfect gift for anytime of the year (i.e., Christmas, birthdays, graduations, etc.). My only criticism of this book is that it may be more appropriate for women who are in their 20s and not teens. In addition, this book may not be appropriate for women who are just starting their walk with God since it requires the reader to be familiar with several Bible accounts. You can see what I am referring to and try out a free 7-day download of these devotions here. Well that is all for now, please continue to pray for me and know I am praying for you. Corine P.S. Be sure to enter to win a copy of this book below.

Greetings Supporters,
Have you caught âhero feverâ yet? I have to admit that I have. In fact, it sometime feels like I am slowly becoming a huge hero fan. First, I feel in love with a huge hero fan. Then that same hero fan convinced me to have a hero theme wedding. Finally, my church decided to host a hero theme Vacation Bible School this year.
As the hero bug slow took over me this year, I created a few Christian hero theme graphic that I would like to share with you.

Hey Supporters,
As you know my sister is in the navy. This past year she was on deployment and I have to admit, I have never been so scared in my life. On of the way I cope with her being deployed was by using humor. My humor eventual merged with my creativity and I started creating tee-shirts that military personal and their family could wear to show their support. If you have a moment I would love for you to check out my entire collection on Amazon or by clicking the buy now button on any of the shirts below. Well that is all for now. Please continue to pray for me and as well as military personally, and know I am praying for you. Corine

Greeting Supporters,
![]() ![]() I am super excited to announce my latest coloring book. This year, I have been focusing more and more on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. I decided to combine what the Bible says about freedom into a patriotic coloring book entitled: Focusing on God’s Freedom. Focusing on God’s Freedom contains 9 different Bible verses, as well as 9 blank coloring pages, which allows you to add a Bible verse or your own thoughts to each page. Currently, the paperback version of Focusing on God's Freedom is available on Amazon and the ebook/PDF version is available on educents. Well until next time, please pray for me and know I am praying for you too. Corine ![]()

![]() Hey Supporters,
Just want to take a moment to tell you about a new product that I just uploaded to my Educents Store: Easter Eggs - Adult Coloring Book. The full version of the book has 10 different Easter eggs coloring pages that are printable. However, you can download the first three Easter Eggs Coloring Pages for free here (just look for the link to "preview this item").
About the Easter Eggs Coloring Book Keep your childhood tradition of coloring Easter Eggs alive with these 10 pictures of Easter Eggs. Each page has one Easter egg on it and there are 10 different pages. The eggs are designed with a zentangle Easter Egg pattern or mandala pattern. Each egg will likely keep you busy for an hour or so. However, because the Easter Eggs Coloring pages are printable, you can print each page on the paper that works best for paint, markers, pen or crayons. Each Easter Egg Coloring Pages can be cut down to 8 x 10 which makes the pages perfect for framing. The space around the Easter Egg Coloring pages is blank which make them perfect to personalize for someone special. So what are you waiting for? Grab your colors & paint these Easter eggs. Use them in your scrapbook or collage. Later you can frame them. This will make a unique personalized gift for someone special! Well that is all for now supporters, please continue to pray for me know I am praying for you. Corine P.S. be sure to stop by next week. I am hoping to have my Resurrection Activity book for kids complete
