I am a clinical psychologist who is currently practicing in Baltimore, MD. I graduated from Saint Louis University with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and completed an APA accredited predoctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Virginia Treatment Center for Children. My professional work has entailed addressing psychological and social issues that affect both children and adults on the national and international level. These works include being a vital part in the development of The World Health Report 2001 - Mental Health: New Understanding, New Hope. Current areas of clinical and research interest include the treating and understanding the long terms impacts of trauma on development, parent-child attachment/engagement, the role of religion and spirituality on mental health and increase the accessibility to mental health services in the inner city.
